Political Axis Of China
This is the capital that every civilization would like to have but few, if any, can match. 3000 years of history still preserved in the same spot, now existing side by side with modern wonders such as the CCTV HQ and Galaxy SOHO.
Beijing is not just a collection of ancient and contemporary structures. The city is exquisitely beautiful with moats and flowers growing everywhere. The interstate Grand Canal remains one of the oldest and longest man-made waterway.
The pride that the Chinese must feel at their magnificent capital can only be felt by someone who feels an equal amount of shame at their own failure to create anything even remotely close to this metropolis that is the axis of the Chinese Civilization.
“If there is to be peace in the world,
There must be peace in the nations.
If there is to be peace in the nations,
There must be peace in the cities.
If there is to be peace in the cities,
There must be peace between neighbors.
If there is to be peace between neighbors,
There must be peace in the home.
If there is to be peace in the home,
There must be peace in the heart.”
