Exploring the many facets and faces of Law
This show was the perfect mixture of comedy and drama. It explored many different legal and philosophical issues through the vehicle of law. James Spader and William Shatner were brilliant in their respective roles as Alan Shore and Denny Crane.
The supporting cast were good and supported the script and main cast very well. The plots were deep and thought-provoking. The comedy was understated and the drama was palpable. This could well be the perfect law show.
However, this, for me, will always remain a show about Alan Shore and Denny Crane, and the special friendship between them. It was refreshing to see two individuals with such different personalities and attitudes become such close friends.
“Advertising is based on one thing: happiness. And do you know what happiness is? Happiness is the smell of a new car. It’s freedom from fear. It’s a billboard on the side of a road that screams with reassurance that whatever you’re doing is OK. You are OK.”
