Seeking True Love with friends
Coupling was a great comedy about love and romance. The cast had incredible chemistry together and the plots were well-written and highlighted the characters idiosyncrasies and actors acting prowess. Richard Coyle was exceptional.
The show had some really ingenious cinematography techniques incorporated into the shows that really added a bit of flair and ingenuity which is so often lacking in comedies. It was way more than just another comedy show about finding love.
It always amazes me how it is so difficult to take a great idea and replicate it successfully elsewhere. It would have been wonderful to experience what Coupling would be like in other parts of the world, like Australia or Canada or even New Zealand.

“Bernard, I have served eleven governments in the past thirty years.
If I had believed in all their policies, I would have been passionately committed to keeping out of the Common Market, and passionately committed to going into it…
… A nationalisation freak and a privatisation maniac; but above all, I would have been a stark-staring, raving schizophrenic.”

“Education in this country is a disaster. We’re supposed to be preparing children for a working life. Three quarters of the time they’re bored stiff!”
”Well I should have thought that being bored stiff for three quarters of the time was an excellent preparation for working life.”
— Jim Hacker & Sir Humphrey
