The true story of a real fake

“Two little mice fell into a bucket of cream. The first mouse quickly gave up and drowned, but the second mouse, he struggled so hard that he eventually churned that cream into butter and he walked out. Amen.”
— Frank Abagnale, Jr.

Not being part of a happy, stable home really messes you up good. It is hard to turn out normal and happy when you have never had that sort of anchoring. A strong family structure is necessary for children to grow up to become healthy, happy adults.

Frank Abagnale Jr., played by Leonardo DiCaprio, was one such individual who acted out by posing as a Pan Am pilot, a pediatrician, and an attorney; all before the age of 19. Along the way he committed millions of dollars in check fraud despite the FBI being on his tail.

The FBI eventually decides to recruit Frank into their organization to help detect and prevent fraud, realizing it takes a thief to catch a thief. The ending credits tell us that Frank is now happily married with three kids and is still friends with the FBI agent that helped apprehend him.
