Say Goodbye to the Bad Guy

“This is paradise, I’m tellin’ ya. This town like a great big pussy just waiting to get fucked.”
— Tony Montana

You have got to love Scarface. Al Pacino is Tony Montana, a Cuban refugee who has left his destitute homeland to chase the American Dream. It’s not hard to relate to someone desperately vying for a better life in the States.

Tony Montana is a very deep, complex, and disturbed character that only Al Pacino could do justice to. It is the story of someone who gets lost along the way up the perceived ladder of success and then has to pay for all his misdeeds.

It’s hard to imagine a more quotable film, though one has to stop quoting the film after going on the other side of twenty. The dialogues and script are phenomenal. Al Pacino’s delivery sublime. The setting and story progression unparalleled.
