Blast from the 70’s
Such period comedies are great fun as they explore life in a different age. What it must have been like before computers, mobile phones, and the internet. Life was quite regular from what I can tell. In someways it was even better.
We follow the story of six teenagers going through high-school together in a small town called Point Place, Wisconsin. Life in the 70’s sure seemed pretty cool even if it was quite different to life growing up in any subsequent decade.
It would be great if they finally created a show like this and Happy Days for the decade of the 90s, the best decade ever. I hope that happens soon as every generation prior and after the 90s generation should know just how incredibly awesome the 90s were.
“Family meeting! Family meeting!”

“Bernard, I have served eleven governments in the past thirty years.
If I had believed in all their policies, I would have been passionately committed to keeping out of the Common Market, and passionately committed to going into it…
… A nationalisation freak and a privatisation maniac; but above all, I would have been a stark-staring, raving schizophrenic.”
— Sir Humphrey Appleby
“Education in this country is a disaster. We’re supposed to be preparing children for a working life. Three quarters of the time they’re bored stiff!”
”Well I should have thought that being bored stiff for three quarters of the time was an excellent preparation for working life.”
— Jim Hacker & Sir Humphrey
