City of Brotherly Love

“In Boston they ask, how much does he know? In New York, how much is he worth? In Philadelphia, who were his parents?”
— Mark Twain

Philadelphia is quite famous. Most people have heard of it. When you actually visit you are sort of left wondering what all the fuss was about. It is certainly a nice place in its own unique way, but it is not exactly a metropolis either.

This is more a historic town which is rich in history dating back to the founding of the nation. The independence National Historical Park and Independence Hall are certainly interesting places to visit. This is where the Liberty Bell can be seen.

There are quite a few things to do to suit everyone’s taste and the people who live there certainly seem to like it. The weather might not be for everyone but it is a nice town overall. It just takes some time getting used to it, especially in winter.
